Academic Conduct

Sessions

All courses except the certificate course are full time with classes conducted five days a week. The session begins in August every year.

Attendance

Every student is expected to have full attendance. Excepting for reasons beyond control, no leave application will be accepted by the college. Those falling below 75% attendance will not be allowed to sit for the semester exams. Absenteeism from the college will have to be duly explained and the same will be referred to the Attendance Committee for vetting. Decision of the Attendance Committee will be final and binding.

Evaluation

Details to be provided in the individual course document distributed to students during the Orientation Programme.

Re-Examination

For Bachelor students re-examination and re-evaluation rules will be as per the university norms.

PG students scoring less than 40% marks and students with short attendance will have to undergo re-examination. Re-examination fee is Rs.500/- per paper

Discipline

Every student admitted to the School should observe discipline. He/she should abide by all the rules and regulations of the college, and create an atmosphere conducive to learning and establishment of healthy atmosphere.

Breach of discipline will invite serious punishment and if a student is found breaching discipline repeatedly the matter will be referred to the Disciplinary Committee which is empowered to take strict action including expulsion.
